School of Rock was a Nickelodeon live-action series that premiered on March 12, 2016 (with Come Together) and concluded on April 8, 2018 (with I Love Rock and Roll: Part 2). The series starred Jade Pettyjohn, who has appeared in Nickelodeon shows, Henry Danger and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Breanna Yde, who was a main character in Nickelodeon shows, The Haunted Hathaways and appeared in Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Tony Cavalero who also guest appeared in Nickelodeon show, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Ricardo Hurtado who also guest appeared in Nickelodeon show, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Lance Lim, Aidan Miner and Jama Williamson (in Season 2 and Season 3). The series was ordered on March 26, 2015.[1][2]
The series was ordered for a third season on December 2, 2016, with a higher episode count; this being 20.[3] On November 15, 2017, Nickelodeon announced that the third season would be the last. Tony Cavalero reported on social media that the series finale was airing on April 8, 2018. The last episode of the third season as well as the series aired on April 8, 2018.
