Hello Everybody,

Today, I am writing a post to say a few things and to catch up on anything that has happened in June 2018.

As the show has ended, the wiki has not been as active, which is fine, but that is why we’re enabling a new feature to the wiki. A FANDOM staff member, Amanda, approached me at the end of June, and we discussed privately and have decided to add the feature, discussions. When this feature is added, I will explain more about it. Although, for now just know that the wiki will be under construction when Amanda and I add the feature. This will hopefully inspire more people to edit on the wiki and become active on FANDOM.

The other thing that I want to share is that a new role is now being used, “Chat Moderator”. After an admin vote, Jaisen, one of the admins is becoming a chat moderator, making him manage three roles. I, being one of the two co-heads, will also be supporting Jaisen as we both check what is going on (like in the comments and the content of pages), Jaisen will be mainly managing this role. This will be added to Meet The Team, soon.

I am happy to take any suggestions for my next post.

Hello everybody,

This wiki has been getting lesser and lesser views, as the show has really wrapped up. I would just like to announce that our latest staff line-up has been yet again shaken up. Due to the inactiveness and cuttings, we have cut two admins, but thank them very much for their great contribution to the wiki. We have also given the two ongoing staff members, Lynn and Jaisen both content moderator and the admin role, as they’re similar roles and they can both work closely together. Meanwhile, the co-heads are remaining the same.

The staff template has been updated and therefore you can check it out if you’re confused by my big message.

I hope you have re-watched some episodes of this amazing show!

Hello School of Rock Wikians!

I am very sorry to let you know that as Content Moderator, that I will not be as active on the wiki nor FANDOM. I will still be active just not always. I promise to not miss as much as a week of work here on the School of Rock Wiki. If you ever need me and I don't respond, go to Co-Heads, MaxBlack123 and Miego Rocks (Diego and Maddie rock!). I am sorry for the inconvenience and I hope this will somehow go well for everyone.

Hello everybody,

I hope everyone has enjoyed their Easter and are settling back into school, college or work, well. I just have two announcements, with a poll. I would love everyone to vote, I will explain more of this below.

1. Jax and I have decided that the goodbye sidebar will be staying up for a while and since we have given everyone many chances, tomorrow is the final day for you to give me or Jax your goodbye message via our message walls. We have seven currently and we were hoping for ten, but this is your final chance.

2. We have two users Klarissa and Jackie who have bureaucrat rights that we do not have the right to take away their rights. As they’re inactive and blocked on a few wikis around FANDOM for causing disruption we’re creating a poll, that any verified user can vote on. This poll, Jax and I will bring to FANDOM staff for a staff member to demote them. We would just love everyone to vote; with your decision in consideration.

We have had no news that a network has picked the series up for a fourth series, but sadly it doesn’t look great, since usually, if a show is to get picked up, then the show would be picked up before the series ends (or even would’ve started production).

Hi School of Rock Wikians!

It is just me again; with a few announcements regarding the wiki.

Firstly, this is your last chance to contact Max or I; for us to put up a Goodbye Message from you on the Sidebar. It is a great way to bid farewell to the show!

Secondly, I will not be doing any more monthly posts as there are no more episodes of School of Rock. This also means no more user of the month but do contact one of the Admins or I if you have any suggestions/issues regarding the wiki.

Thirdly, the wiki is not closing down. Even though not as many people will be editing the wiki, the Admins and I still want to keep a community and it is still up for users to enjoy looking at and/or getting some information off. No wiki is perfect - there will still be errors on the wiki - so feel free to contribute and enjoy collaborating with others too!

Lastly, I did request to FANDOM to take away two admin’s rights who had falsely got rights through hacking. They said I had to hold a Poll for users to vote if we should keep them on the team or not. These users are AgentKlarissa and Butterfly3. Five votes are needed for them to stay or leave the team individually. Please vote Yes or No below based on your opinion if you think they should or shouldn’t remain as Admin.

Hello everyone,

I have got a few final things after we watched the final episode of School of Rock.

1. We have seven goodbye messages from all of our staff, we would love to have at least three more (from other users) to add to the sidebar. I think it shows how much we love the show and what appreciation we have toward it.

2. I know Jax has done this a few times, although I would love to see users write their favourite season, character and episode of the whole series. This can also be added to your user page. This can be left in the comments under this post.

3. I would also love users and staff to drop by my or Jax’s Message wall for any suggestions you have for the wiki. It can be about the layout, the infoboxes, the community pages or anything, any advice for the SOR team.

We have had no reports of School of Rock, whether it has been picked up for a fourth season by another network. I hope you enjoyed the finale, although there were a lot of unawnsered questions. If you have any, leave them in the comments and anyone can answer them (with their opinions).

I can’t believe it. School of Rock has ended. Anyway, I wanted to ask you what your thoughts were on the final episode? There were many unanswered questions so if you ask them below, people can give their thoughts on what might have happened.

Hello everyone,

I have a couple more notices to give out, which will really be summing up our time left until the show is officially over.

1. We have our line-up complete! With lots of discussion between the co-heads, we have decided to drop an admin and only have three active admins. The admin that was dropped was actually moved to become the content moderator, which he has happily settled into. He will be the only content moderator.

Jaisen has now become our content moderator, as he stepped down as admin; which left us with only three admins, there will no more users added as an admin for now. We have decided to just have one content moderator. We now have our complete six staff!

2. I know many users have wondered if this wiki is closing down. The answer is definitely no. We want anyone to come on this wiki and see all the amazing work and effort we have put into it. I also want people and users to get information off of here, as we have a lot. I also want you to know that anyone is free to edit, after the show ends.

3. I have finished touching up on the policies and guidelines. There were a few moderations that I have made, since it was last updated in January/February 2017 and a lot has changed since then. Please review the Policies, as there may be new information that many users will not know. If there are any queries on any of the rules or if you want to add a specific rule, do not hesitate to contact me or Jax on our message walls.

Thanks everyone, the time is ticking until we watch the last episode ever of the series! I am hoping for some more goodbye messages to the show.

Hello everyone,

This post is actually going to be on a few changes that has happened to the wiki in the last day or two.

Basically, Sarah (the founder) returned for a two day stint to make a few changes to the wiki. She has really helped out a lot in the last day and that is why I am going to tell you a couple of notices.

1. Sarah has added a new sidebar on the side; which is there for goodbye messages. Now, so far, only two users have written their response and I would love to see more participation! On the side, it says that if anyone has interest in writing a goodbye message to the show, then they should contact me. I can then add the comment and your username/name to it. I think this is a great way to say our goodbyes to the show and express our emotions throughout it.

2. I do not know if any of you have realized but the badges are back. After it being taken down by Sarah, before her departure, she has now put it back up, this was on her own accord as many users were asking for it back.

3. Finally, Jax and I have got our lineup almost complete, with only needing a content moderator or two, we’re keeping our eyes peeled and will really be looking for lots of things. I do hope your participation is at your best to prove us that you’re worthy for the job!

I do hope you’re all very excited to see the grand finale episode on Sunday and are having lovely Easter break!

Hello everyone,

I am just giving you the final information on the roles.

First off, we already have two co-heads, Jax and I, and we have decided that we will not be adding any other users to the team, as then we feel there would be too many of us and also the role would become co-bureaucrats then, like what we had when Sarah was with us. Therefore it will just remain Jax and I and there will be no changes, yet.

We currently have three admins and we’re thinking that we would only be looking for one more, due to then it gets a bit too much with lots of admin and then the role is not then special. As the show only has one episode left, we really need to see the contributions and will be keeping our eyes peeled for that final potential admin.

We have not chat/content moderators currently, and we will be looking out for only one, possibly two depending on the contributions.

Hello School of Rock Wikians!

Further on Max’s recent blog post, I wanted to inform you about the templates you can choose to add to your user page. These are out of a collection of your favorite season, character and even who you ship. I would like to explain what/who you choose from the selection and how you add them to your user pages.

Firstly, you can choose out of any of the seven main characters (Tomika, Freddy, Summer, Zack, Lawrence, Dewey and Principal Mullins) as your favorite character (let me know below if you think we should make templates for the recurring characters too). Next, you can choose what your favorite season is out of the three amazing seasons of the show and last but not least, you can choose who you ship (i.e. Summer and Asher/Summer and Freddy/Zack and Tomika/Summer and Tomika and Lawrence and Esmeralda). Again, below, let me know if you would like to add any other pairings (i.e. Zack and Lawrence, Lawrence and Freddy, etc.) or for that matter, any other suggestions about what other templates we could add (these should be related to the show). When you have done this, if your favorite character is Summer, it should come out like this...

My favorite character is Summer Hathaway!

How you can add these to your Home Page is quite simple. This is how you would do it...

Another badge we have is ‘I Love School of Rock’. For this you should put... {{I Love [insert SOR]}}.

Hello everyone,

I am just here to give you two notices.

1. There has been no new admins in the last week, since the promotion of User:Chandre08. We’re also looking out for content/chat moderators for the wiki and I am happy to talk to you personally if you’re interested in the roll via my message wall.

2. Another way that I can look out for potential admins is the customization of your profile. It is your page and you can do whatever you want with it: pictures, favourite episodes, templates, infoboxes etc. I would love to see a bit more effort into users pages and then we can make judgements. You can also stick a little bio about yourself, e.g. where you come from and what other wikis you work on.

Hello everyone,

I am writing another post just because a few users have been asking how to get admin. I want it to be very clear, set in stone and it all written out, so people can work toward the goal and so there is no confusion.

As you all know, I have said that the admins and bureaucrats are keeping their eyes peeled for potential admins as the show heads toward the series finale. There will be a lot of updating, when the last episode comes around the corner we will need lots of support and will want to make the wiki up to it’s best standard.

The admins and bureaucrats will be looking out for different things, but I will look out for the four following things:

1. Activeness - Frequent and Fluent Edits
2. Trust – How long you have been on the Wiki and how trustworthy you are.
3. How successful your edits are (quality and quantity).
4. How you act around other users.

I hope that you all have a basic idea and if there are any queries, leave it in the comments below.
